KYKAFRIKAANS is an anthology of concrete poetry published in 1980 by Uitgewery Pannevis. This publishing house was founded by Markus de Jong and, during its short existence, focused on the publication of alternative Afrikaans literature. Originally only a thousand copies were printed, Few conceptual poems have ever been written in Afrikaans and KYKAFRIKAANS is arguably the only full anthology of such divergent poetry to have been published in this language.
