Through Gasa Land and the Scene of Portuguese Aggression

The author describes a hunting trip made by himself and two companions from Lourenco Marques northwards to the Sabi River, and thence onwards to the lands of the Mantatees and Mashonas. Much on elephant hunting, which made their trip a success, though one of his friends died of fever.
