Map of L'Afrique (Brion de la Tour & Desnos, 1766)

LAfrique dressee pour letude e la geographie with an attractive cartouche and decorative engraved Roccoco frame (wholly intact, which is quite unusual). This attractive map is based on Delisles modern 1700 map and is by Louis Brion de la Tour, cartographer royal, and published by Louis Desnos in 1776. Not in Tooley.
