Rubber Blanket No. 3

Rubber Blanket was an alternative comics magazine. It was edited by the husband and wife team of cartoonist David Mazzucchelli and painter-colorist Richmond Lewis. While the magazine published other artists, its main focus was Mazzucchelli's work. The cartoonist's superhero strips had made him a favorite of fans, but he here moves towards more personal storytelling and a bold and more expressionistic style.
