Gareth Nyandoro

Gareth Nyandoro was born in the Bikita district outside Masvingo, Zimbabwe, in 1982, and currently lives and works in Harare. He entered the artist-in-residence programme at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunstern, Amsterdam, in 2014. He was the recipient of the FT/Oppenheimer Emerging Voices Art Award, and held his first European institutional solo exhibition in Paris in 2017.
